Review of a premises licence or club premises certificate
To review a licence you must be one of the following:
- a person living in the vicinity of the premises
- a body representing persons living in the vicinity of the
premises
- a person involved in business in the vicinity of the
premises
- a body representing persons involved in business in the
vicinity of the premises (ie Residents' Association)
- a ward councillor
- a responsible authority (ie police or Environmental Protection
etc.)
The review must relate to a particular premises and can be
triggered if there is evidence that one or more of the following
licensing objectives are not being promoted:
- the prevention of crime and disorder
- the prevention of public nuisance
- public safety
- the protection of children from harm

Where do I send the forms?
As well as returning the completed review application to us, you
will need to notify the holder of the premises licence and each
responsible authority of their request, by sending them a copy of
the application for review together with any accompanying
documents, on the same day as the application is given to us.

Please note that we can reject any ground for a review if it
considers it to be frivolous, vexatious or a repetition. If
not rejected, we must hold a hearing to consider the
application. You will notified of the date of the hearing.
