Mayor's One Tower Hamlets Fund 2012

community, voluntary and resident groups to set up Neighbourhood
Agreements. A Neighbourhood Agreement involves local people
working together with the council and other service providers to
identify priorities for public service delivery in their area . The
Fund will support groups to deliver activities which bring together
residents from different backgrounds and develop community
leadership to develop a Neighbourhood Agreement.
Further information on how to develop Neighbourhood Agreements
can be found in the toolkit below. Deadline for application is 9am
Monday 13th February 2012 with successful projects being notified

Youth Service Registration Scheme
If you are considering to apply for a grant administered by the
Youth Service (e.g. Positive Activities for Young People
(PAYP), Mainstream Grant, Summer Grant or Youth
Opportunity Fund (YOF)) or wish to apply for a grant in order
to deliver a youth service in Tower Hamlets, your organisation
needs to be registered on the service's Registration Scheme.
This allows us to assess your organisation's
capability to deliver youth work in relation to a set of
standards, by which we decide the "Level" (1, 2 or 3). Your
organisation needs to be at Level 1 to
be given grants of the maximum value of £5,000; Level 2,
for grants above £5,000 but below £10,000 and Level 3, above
£10,000.
Positive Activities for Young People (PAYP)
Positive Activities for Young People is a council-managed scheme
that provides 8-19 year olds with supervised activities and
learning opportunities every school holiday. For more information
