Tennis is growing in popularity in Tower Hamlets and we have invested in coaching and participation programmes to provide more opportunities for our residents.

Booking a court

Tennis courts can be booked at three of the borough’s leisure centres:

• Mile End Park
• John Orwell

There are also tennis courts in:

• Bethnal Green Gardens
• King Edward Memorial Park
• Poplar Recreation Ground
• St John’s Park
• Victoria Park

These courts are operated on a pay to play basis. There is no need to book. Just turn up at your chosen court and a park ranger will collect the fee during the course of your session.

The cost per hour per court is £4.70, or £1.25 for leisure pass holders.
