Gifted and talented pupils

All primary and secondary schools in Tower Hamlets have a nominated teacher who leads on the education of gifted and talented pupils in their school.

For further information you will need to approach individual schools directly. Please refer to the list of Tower Hamlets schools.

Most schools provide a wide range of enrichment activities to extend and challenge their most able and talented pupils. This is supplemented through a borough programme which includes:

• Debating, mathematics and creative writing competitions
• “Reaching A* Grades ” work shops
• A range of summer school programmes
• University events and visits

Pupils are chosen by their schools to participate.
