A new swimming school is opening its
doors to youngsters and adults alike, and you can win a free course
of lessons.
Local resident Lesley Green, a former Sir
John Cass pupil and qualified swimming instructor with 22 years
experience, will be heading the Love to Swim club, starting after
the February half-term.
Lessons will take place at Sir John Cass
Foundation and Red coats school and Lesley is excited about
spreading her passion for the sport.
“I love helping people to overcome their
fears and learn a skill that will last a lifetime,” she said,
adding that Tower Hamlets still has one of the lowest swimming
participation rates in London.
“Swimming will not only give you or your
child greater confidence in the water but regular swimming will
improve health and fitness levels.”
Love To Swim will be Amateur Swimming
Association (ASA) registered and will be staffed by qualified
instructors.
A six-week course start on February 28
costs £24 for children and £30 for adults. There will also be
toddler groups and women-only classes.
