Tower Hamlets residents have the chance to vote Victoria Park the nation’s favourite park or green space in this year’s Green Flag Awards.

In July,  Victoria Park (along with other parks in the borough) was given a prestigious Green Flag Award.

Now, the award scheme is asking the nation to have its say and decide which parks and green spaces should receive the People’s Choice Award for being the UK’s favourite.

Whether you enjoy visiting a park or green space to play football, walk the dog, exercise or simply get away from the hustle and bustle, if you think your favourite deserves to be in the top 10 People’s Choice then cast your vote.

Mayor of Tower Hamlets John Biggs said: “Victoria Park is the largest and most popular park in East London and a jewel in the crown of Tower Hamlets.  We’re extremely proud of it and all our award winning parks and open spaces.

All our parks offer great facilities for residents to enjoy.  The Green Flag recognises the quality of our parks and I urge everyone to help Victoria Park get recognised by voting for it in the People’s Choice Awards.”
