Two serious case reviews (SCRs) have been published today by the Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB).
The LSCB is responsible for multi-agency safeguarding arrangements in the borough and commissioned these two SCRs, which were then overseen by independent experts.
The reports are the conclusions and recommendations of those independent case reviewers. Both of the SCRs have provided a set of recommendations, which will be adopted by the LSCB and relevant partners.
Many of these recommendations have already been actioned over the last two years through the council’s social care improvement work, following a 2017 Ofsted inspection.
