All primary school applicants received an offer of a place at a Tower Hamlets school on National offer Day 2022
97.4 per cent of children due to start primary school in September have been offered a place at one of their preferred primary schools - a slightly higher proportion than last year.
The London Borough of Tower Hamlets received 3048 primary school applications this year. 89.27% secured a place at their first preference school - almost a percentage point increase on last year, and slightly higher than the London average of 88 per cent.
96.7% of the borough’s applicants secured a place at one of their top three preferences.

James Thomas, Corporate Director for Children and Culture, Tower Hamlets Council, said: “I’m really pleased that so many families have received a place at one of their preferred schools.
Good education remains a top priority for the council and we continue to invest in our primary schools to help lay a foundation for success and give our young people the very best start in life possible.”
