Last year's winning designs
Design a Christmas card competition 2022.
With the festive season fast approaching, Mayor Lutfur Rahman is calling on talented young creatives in Tower Hamlets to come up with colourful designs for the borough’s annual corporate Christmas cards.
Primary school age artists are invited to enter this year’s competition to design an exclusive Christmas card cover which may feature on cards sent out by the Mayor, Chief Executive or Director of Children and Culture.
Young people are encouraged to be inventive and draw, paint or collage a card with a seasonal, and borough theme.
Last year, we received more than 100 entries to the competition.
Lutfur Rahman, Mayor of Tower Hamlets, said: “Our popular Christmas competition gives young people an opportunity to be as innovative as possible, and come up with an exciting original Tower Hamlets themed design that will help spread some Christmas cheer. Judging on the talents of the young people in our borough, I am sure that we will be presented with a difficult task of choosing a winning design from the anticipated entries. Good luck to all the entrants.”
