Become a No Place For Hate Crime Champion and help make our borough a safer place for everyone

NPFHC

Do you want to make Tower Hamlets no place for hate? Do you want to help tackle discrimination and hate crime in our area? Then sign up to be a No Place for Hate Crime Champion.

The champions are given free training to help them tackle different forms of hate crime in their area.

They are required to carry out a minimum of three hate crime awareness activities such as outreach events or delivering training to those living or working in Tower Hamlets. Ongoing support is provided by the council’s Hate Crime Team.

Hear more about being a hate crime champion from Mace Hoque and Johanna Kaschke, two of our current champions:

If you are interested in signing up, you need to attend training on both of these days:

  • Wednesday 26 April, 10am to 4pm
  • Thursday 27 April, 10am to 4pm

Email hatecrime@towerhamlets.gov.uk for an application form and or call Benedicta on 020 7364 6105/6120 for more information. The closing date is Friday 21 April.
