This extended vocal performance by Dr. Sidrah Muntaha for the latter part of a Hope n Mic event will focus on semi-classical ghazals from the Indian subcontinent. Sidrah will be accompanied by musicians and simple translations will be provided for people who may struggle to understand complex sentences. This charity event aims to promote therapeutic benefits of music and arts for people with Learning Disabilities & Autism. Other performances on the evening will include an NHS choir as well as various open mic acts by members of the local communities including those with learning disabilities and/or Autism. Entrance fee will be £5 which will be donated to Otakar Kraus Music Trust, a registered charity which provides music therapy to orphaned and abandoned children with disabilities in India and Nepal.
