Iroko will provide two dramatic, exhilarating performances each day at 10.30am and 1.45pm. These are colourful and interactive dramatisations of myths, legends or fables about the exploits of various African tricksters.  The programme uses live drumming, dance, songs, chants and sometimes masquerades filled with excitement and fun.

IROKO Theatre Company enhances the understanding and appreciation of African culture and arts, amongst society as a whole, and particularly as a vehicle for facilitating learning and self-development amongst children and young people.

Aimed at Key Stages 1 and 2, allocation is on a first come first served basis on receipt of completed booking form. Please email kazi.begum@towerhamlets.gov.uk for a booking form.
