This year celebrates the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh's Independence. If you are 16 - 19 years of age and live or study in Tower Hamlets, come and explore the themes of Independence and Freedom by writing A Short Story - fiction or non-fiction, A Script, A Song, Poetry, Spoken Word, or Rap.

Use words to express your personal experiences, perceptions and interpretations of Freedom and Independence, while taking part in international (Bangladesh, Northern Cyprus, Turkey and UK) online workshops that will teach you the skills of crafting your writing creatively.

Two, international professional tutors and technical support from QMU will offer online training in the crafting, performing and documentation of your work in preparation for a ZOOM event on 21st November 2021.

90 minute sessions will commence twice-weekly, and will be online. Workshops begin on Saturday October 9, 12pm (UK time), 2pm (Northern Cyprus/Turkey time), 5pm (Bangladesh time) and every Saturday thereafter until Nov 20th 2021. Each week there will a 2nd session, with dates and times to be confirmed.
