Join singer-songwriter Jordon O for a series of songwriting masterclasses to unlock your inner lyricist and create your own unique sound in a celebration of Black History Month.
Music is such a vital part of our lives and through exploration of issues that are hugely important to young people, these masterclasses will help you gain new skills to write your own tunes as well as providing you a stage to perform them for the very first time in a live showcase at the end of the course. These workshops are aimed at young people as a way to provide a range of learning opportunities. These include skills learning, peer learning and support as well as a platform for their voices and a creative way to express their views.
Masterclass 1: An introduction to songwriting, exploring themes that are relevant to your lives, learning to express your stories through music
Showcase: You will be invited to showcase your work for family and friends for the premiere of your song writing journey!
