Tower Hamlets Council is in the process of implementing charging for non-residential care services.
Residents in receipt of a community based care package have been assessed to determine the contribution or ‘charge’ towards the cost of their care. We have now written to all residents who currently receive community based services to notify them of the charge they will be expected to pay, if any, from 02 October.
This update is to let you know that we will be sending out our first set of invoices in the week commencing 13 November.
If you have been assessed as being eligible for a charge and do not agree with the assessment, please contact us on the details below. Please be assured that we want to assist and work with you to ensure that you are only paying what you are required to pay
