Launch of Christmas card competition


Mayor John Biggs is on the lookout for exciting new designs for his 2017 Christmas card.

This year's Christmas card competition is now open for young residents and pupils aged 11 and under.  As well as having their design made into a real card, the winners will also receive a book token.

Mayor John Biggs said: “”I know that we have some extremely talented young people in Tower Hamlets and I’m very much looking forward to seeing this year’s designs. 

How to enter

Entrants must be aged 5 to 11 and either live or go to school in the borough.

Entries must:

  • be on A5 paper, either landscape or portrait
  • be original, creative and colourful
  • not use glitter, or any other protruding items
  • include the child's name, age, phone number, school and address on the back of the design

Unfortunately entries cannot be returned. The deadline for entries is  5pm on Friday 24 November, 2017.
