Please note that Tower Hamlets Registration and Citizenship Service now operates an appointment only system. Please telephone our offices on 020 7364 7880 in order to make an appointment. You can make an appointment to register a birth online.

Please also be aware that we operate a cashless office and accept card payments only.  Please note that we are unable to accept American Express/Diners Club and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.  Please telephone us on 020 7364 7880 to make an appointment.

Our opening hours are:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9.10am until 4.30pm

Wednesday: Please note that we are closed on two Wednesday afternoons each month so please check with us before coming to our offices on Wednesdays.

The nearest underground station is Bow Road on the District Line or Hammersmith and City Line. The nearest DLR station is Bow Church. When you come out of either station, turn to your right and continue walking down Bow Road. You will see Bromley Public Hall on your right-hand side.

The register office is on bus routes: 25, 8 and 108


If you are a wheelchair user visiting the Register Office at Bromley Public Hall, please contact us on 020 7364 7880 before your visit in order that we may assist you with access to the building.

Please note that there is limited parking available at the Register Office.  We have one designated Blue Badge Holder bay, one wedding car bay and one bay for bereaved families. 

Pay and display parking is available in the vicinity on Fairfield Road and Campbell Road.
