Coronavirus and the change in application process

As a result of social distancing measures, all applications or Temporary Event Notices (TENs) should be sent electronically. Either through:

- the GOV.UK website

- or download and complete the application form by hand, then scan and email it to Licensing@towerhamlets.gov.uk

As a last measure we will also accept photographed applications/TENs emailed to us

Offices moved to Mulberry Place

The Licensing Authority moved offices in May 2021 to Mulberry Place (Tower Hamlets Town Hall). 

Any adverts for applications stating John Onslow House will be rejected, as post is no longer accepted and therefore will not be received by the Licensing Authority.

The council is responsible for the control and licensing of a wide range of activities and businesses in the borough.
