Businesses that must close because of new coronavirus regulations

To reduce the spread of infection, a number of businesses and venues across the country must temporarily close, and not to open for trade.

The Government created new regulations to enforce these closures where necessary. A business operating in breach of these regulations will be committing an offence.

Coronavirus and the change in application process

As a result of social distancing measures, all applications or Temporary Event Notices (TENs) should be sent electronically. Either through:

the GOV.UK website

Or download and complete the application form by hand, then scan and email it to Licensing@towerhamlets.gov.uk

As a last measure we will also accept photographed applications/TENs emailed to us
