Help us improve financial inclusion in Tower Hamlets

The Financially Inclusive Tower Hamlets Network (FITH) has drafted a Financial Inclusion Strategy (FIS) for Tower Hamlets. The strategy looks to address a range of areas, including debt and money management, and outlines the borough's approach to improving financial inclusion provision over the next few years for residents.

The Financially Inclusive Tower Hamlets Network (FITH) is made up of local partners including the council, NHS, housing associations, community and voluntary groups. It is inviting local people and organisations to help them inform the new strategy.

To take part in the consultation, please read the Financial inclusion strategy and complete a short online survey.

We have carried out an Equalities Analysis of the strategy to help us think about the impacts or likely impacts on service users and the nine protected characteristics covered by the Equality Act 2010. These include: age; disability; gender reassignment; marriage and civil partnership; pregnancy and maternity; race; religion and belief; sex; and sexual orientation.

For more information about this please view the draft financial inclusion strategy equality analysis.

The consultation was closed on 28 February, 2013.
