Health and Wellbeing Strategy Consultation

The Tower Hamlets Health and Wellbeing Board has to set out how it will improve the health and wellbeing of people living in Tower Hamlets. This will be the “Tower Hamlets Health and Wellbeing Strategy”.

During June and early July we asked residents, staff and community forums/groups to tell us what they thought of health and wellbeing in the borough. We asked questions like:

  • What helps you to stay healthy?
  • What stops you from staying healthy?
  • What do you think your community could do more of to help improve health and wellbeing in the borough?

The Board has used your feedback along with discussions with local forums and community groups to develop an outline of the new Health and Wellbeing Strategy. This includes what we should be focusing on, what we want to happen and what we need to work on to do that.

We’d like your views on what’s been developed so far.  Your views will help to re-shape the final draft and importantly the delivery plan that will be drafted to support the implementation of our ambitions.

Please view our outline strategy. We’ve developed an online survey so you can tell us what you think. This survey can be completed by individuals (residents and staff) or as a local community group/forum/representative body. The survey will close on 31 August. Access the survey:
