Visiting dates for Tower Hamlets school

Bishop Challoner Federation of Catholic Schools

Open evenings

We have been working hard to produce an online open evening experience that you can enjoy safely at home. We are happy to inform you that from 4.30pm on Tuesday 22 September our virtual open evening for both schools will be live on the open day section of our website.

We look forward to sharing an evening’s worth of videos and resources that will illustrate what makes our high-achieving school community so special.

Our students will be conducting a pre-recorded tour of our school and virtually answering all of the most common questions about life at Bishop Challoner.

There will also be speeches available from our Executive Headteacher, our Heads of the Boys’ and Girls’ Schools and our Head of Year 7 that will go into detail about the world class education we can offer your child.

Please note that although the Virtual Open Evening videos and resources will go live at 4.30pm - they will remain there permanently. You are free to watch and read them at the times most convenient for you.

Open mornings

We are pleased to say that we will be running a limited number of tours of the school that can be booked via the form on our website on a first come first served basis on weekdays between the 22 September and 30 October.

Tours will begin at main reception at 9.30am prompt and last for 30 mins. They will be relevant to parents of both boys and girls and led by a member of staff.

Please note that for safety reasons:

  • all tours must be pre booked by completing the form on our website here. We regret that we will not be able to welcome any visitors without a pre-existing booking
  • tour groups are limited to two households per morning with a maximum of three visitors per household
  • masks must be worn at all times while on site
  • although tours will cover the school site and all of our excellent facilities, tour groups will not be able to enter classrooms.
