Youth Achievement Awards 2022

The youth achievement awards are a chance to celebrate and recognise good actions shown by young people in Tower Hamlets.

Awards will be handed to young people who have shown commitment, high development and passion and have overcome barriers over the past few years.

Nominees must either live, work, study in the borough or use the borough’s youth service. They must be between 11 and 19 years old (or up to 25 if they have a disability or learning difficulty).

What the judges are looking for

The judging panel will be looking for examples of progression, effort and achievement. Nominations will be judged on how far they have come; taking steps to further themselves or making the most of an opportunity.

Judges will also be looking to see how the young people have supported or helped others or overcome difficulties. Also how they have shared their experiences to benefit another person or group.

We receive a lot of nominations so the judges will be looking for examples of outstanding achievement.

Submit your nominations by 5pm on 20 November.
