We're transforming a former car park by building a new 5, 6 and 7 storey building which will provide 24 new council homes.

We're building a new 5 and 6 storey building on the site of an old car park next to Arthur Wade House. It will deliver 20 new council homes. Council housing doesn't have to be boring, so we've included a terrace for residents on the fifth floor.

We're turning an unused car park and nearby space into a residential development that will deliver 33 one, two and three bedroom council homes, providing much needed family accommodation.

We're replacing an old community hall with three new buildings providing 53 council homes, including 2, 3 and 4 bedroom flats. We're also providing a new community centre as well as private and public open space.

Spitalfields and Banglatown ward

We are keen to identify smaller sites where we can build much-needed homes. We're demolishing a row of lock up garages and building four three bedroom and three four bedroom affordable council houses. We're also improving the open space and installing a new play area.

We're replacing a library that is no longer open with five new council homes. All five will have three bedrooms and private gardens, making them ideal for families. Two of the houses will be adapted for wheelchair users.
