School holiday programmes

Our sports development officers deliver programmes and activities all over the borough. They support people of all ages and backgrounds to help them become more active. This includes school holiday sessions that make a positive impact the health and well-being of young people in Tower Hamlets.

February Half Term

Thanks to all who came to our October Half Term cycling and adventure sport course at Urban Adventure Base.

The next event will be the annual Get Your Skates On festival at Bethnal Green Gardens in February, featuring ice skating, sports tasters, rides, and much more. More details will be released soon.

Fit & Fed

In partnership with StreetGames and Fareshare, we provide a free lunch with some of our holiday programmes in order to combat holiday hunger.

Many low income families in Tower Hamlets rely on free school meals in order to ensure their children receive the nutrition they need, and the school holidays present a challenge on their budgets. Fit and Fed aims to reduce that burden, whilst also ensuring children get the exercise they need to stay healthy.
