Regulation 19 consultation
We conducted a six-week consultation between from Monday 2 October 2017 to Monday 13 November 2017 on the ‘Tower Hamlets Draft Local Plan 2031: Managing Growth and Sharing the Benefits’. This document outlined:
a vision of what the borough will look and feel like in 2031;
a series of objectives and actions on how the benefits from this transformation can be shared across the borough;
a range of policies to inform and positively shape future development/investment decisions;
a series of priorities and principles that will inform the future development of the borough’s individual places and identifies sites to deliver new homes, jobs and supporting infrastructure etc; and
details on how we will implement and monitor these policies.
Three workshops were held during the consultation and the presentation given at the workshop is available. We also produced a short summary booklet which provides a brief overview of the topics contained in the Local Plan.
