Kelly Family Charitable Trust

Charities that support families or individuals facing family-related problems such as domestic abuse, separation, mental health challenges, addiction, or financial hardship, etc can apply for grants of up to £5,000. This funding can cover core costs like staff salaries or utility bills, revenue costs such as running support groups or training volunteers, and capital costs including purchasing equipment or refurbishing a family centre.

Eligibility

  • Organisations whose activities that take place within the UK
  • Charities whose activities involve all or most family members to encourage the family to work as a cohesive unit in tackling problems
  • Delivers activities such as:
    • interventions that support families – e.g. practical family support, relationship counselling, mediation
    • families where sexual abuse, physical abuse, domestic violence, alcohol abuse and drug abuse threaten the integrity of the family unit
    • prisoners, and in particular their families, during and after the period of imprisonment.
  • Preferably charities whose income is below £500,000

 Vinehill Trust

The funding will support projects that address acute conditions such as per-hospital care, life-saving equipment/training/intervention, and suicide prevention services.

Eligibility

  • UK-registered charities, non-profits, or CICs. Public sector organisations (e.g. NHS) may apply only in partnership with a non-profit lead.
  • You must be seeking funds for UK projects that directly benefit UK residents and are focussed on healthcare delivery (rather than general well-being).

 Allia – Tower Hamlets support for start ups

Support for Start-ups helps early-stage businesses in Tower Hamlets develop and grow through tailored mentoring, workshops and business support. In September, selected participants are then invited to pitch their business for the chance to win grant funding to support their growth plans.

Early-stage businesses, including Community Investment Companiess and Charities, that have been trading for 6 to 24 months and based in Tower Hamlets can apply.

John Ellerman Foundation

Grants for core costs for charitable, changemaking organisations in the UK to support the wellbeing of people, society and the natural world.

The Foundation aims to ensure the rights of people, society and the natural world for current and future generations. Applications should address at least one of the following funding criteria:

  • Tackling the triple planetary crisis by mitigating and adapting to climate impacts, reducing pollution, and protecting and restoring nature.
  • Building greater trust and connection, reducing polarisation within society and increasing the levels of participation and influence in the political process.
  • Promoting the development and adoption of economic models and systems that support people and planet, and reduce wealth inequalities.
  • Advancing equity and justice for marginalised communities impacted by these issues.

Eligibility

UK Registered Charities with annual income of between £100,000 and £10 million

Funding amount

The maximum annual award is £60,000.

The total maximum available to an organisation is £180,000 (over three years).

Motability Foundation – Organisation Grants

The Motability Foundation supports organisations which help disabled people to make journeys. It makes grants to organisations providing services for disabled people, or working to make transport more accessible.

Eligibility

Esmée Fairbairn - A Fairer Future

Esmée Fairbairn Foundation aims to improve our natural world, secure a fairer future and strengthen the bonds in communities in the UK. It supports people and organisations who are doing everything they can to bring about the change the Foundation wants to see.

The Foundation’s grant funding is focussed on work that will deliver long-term impact and create change for the future. This means it makes longer-term grants to organisations, rather than short-term or small-scale grants.

Grants valued from £30,000 (no maximum) are available for core or project costs, including staff salaries and overheads. Unrestricted funding for charities is available. The majority of grants are for three to five years.
