Learning centres

The council provides a range of education and training related services aimed at improving skills and boosting achievements for all. Learning centres are an important part of this service offering access to resources, information and training.

Among Tower Hamlets learning centres are:

Professional Development Centre (PDC)

The PDC is a dedicated meeting, training, event and conference venue, flooded with natural light and full of the latest facilities. As standard the rooms have a computer linked to a projector and a built in audio sound system and a flipchart stand, paper and pens are provided. Each room also has its own temperature control panel offering both heating and air-conditioning.

The rooms are flexible and can cater for one-to-one sessions, training courses, performances and presentations for up to 150 delegates. Each room can be presented in a variety of layouts, including theatre, cabaret, horse shoe, boardroom and interview style.

The centre can cater for your events, whether it is for breakfast, mid-morning break or lunch. Our caterers are always happy to discuss your requirements or talk you through the menu.

Based in a prime location of Bethnal Green Road, Shoreditch High Street, Bethnal Green and Liverpool Street stations are all within walking distance.

We have a wonderful courtyard style garden for our visitors to enjoy.  You will regularly see people sat on one of our benches having a break while taking in our little oasis.
