Sustainability
The council is committed to sustainable
development, continuously improving its services, policies and
practices to contribute to a better quality of life for everyone
now, and in the future.
Sustainable development considers the balance between
environmental, economic and social issues of today's activities.
Environmental issues are now at the heart of sustainable
development as we recognise our dependence on the earth’s
resources.
