Opportunity for catering concessions in parks

Tower Hamlets has many beautiful parks and open spaces used by both residents and visitors to the borough.

We have a great opportunity for local businesses to trade in our parks for the summer season.

We are seeking to license:

- catering vans
- catering operators at fixed pitches
- healthy street food trucks

We have opportunities in parks across the borough for vendors who have Public Liability Insurance and Food Hygiene Certificate.

Facilities:

  • Play area for ages 4 and below
  • Multi-use games area
  • Adventure Playground for ages 8 and above. Adventure play sessions for ages 5 to 15, Tuesday to Thursday, 3:30 – 6pm (term time only). There is no need to book, but spaces are limited. Parents will need to register their child if they haven’t already done so. Children below the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • Fully inclusive adventure playground. All equipment in this playground is accessible to children and young people with additional needs aged 8 – 25 (SEND)
  • Children’s games markings on MUGA
  • Indoor community space
  • Accessible toilets

Whitehorse Adventure Playground is managed by the council on behalf of the King George’s Field, Mile End Charity, a registered charity in England and Wales, number 1077859.
