Inspiring inclusion is the theme for Tower Hamlets Council’s inaugural Women’s Achievement Awards.
Nominations are open for the Women’s Achievement Awards aimed at celebrating the remarkable contributions of local women.
The theme of 2024’s International Women’s Day event is “inspiring inclusion.” There are six categories open for public nomination including:
- Women Business Leader of the Year
- Young women of the year
- Unsung Hero
- Women Volunteer of the Year
- Women’s Community Group of the Year
- Women Carer of the year
Executive Mayor of Tower Hamlets, Lutfur Rahman said:
“I am proud to be launching our first Women’s Achievement Awards in Tower Hamlets. These awards represent resilience, leadership, and innovation.
“Our International Women’s Day event next March will create more opportunities for female leadership within our communities.”
