National Hate Crime Awareness Week 2025

 No place for hate 2025

Hate crime affects all communities, and we all have a role to play in recognising it and responding swiftly. A range of activities will take place during National Hate Crime Awareness Week 2025 (11–18 October) to highlight this message. These events will bring together individuals, community members, and professionals to share experiences, raise awareness, and learn how to report hate crimes and access support from local services.

In line with the #NationalHCAW theme, this year’s focus will be on disability hate crime, highlighting the unique challenges faced by disabled people and the importance of inclusive support. Whether you are a victim, advocate, service provider, or ally, your presence and voice are vital. Let’s stand united against hate, because your voice matters.

Make your pledge

This October, we’re encouraging individuals and organisations across Tower Hamlets to sign the Pledge Against Hate.

By adding your name, you’ll help strengthen our shared commitment to eradicating hate and building a borough where everyone feels safe, respected, and included.

Our vision is One Tower Hamlets, a place where people from all backgrounds come together in a strong spirit of community. It only takes a few minutes, but your support can make a big difference. Together we can make Tower Hamlets No Place for Hate.
