Advice and information session for non-UK EU citizens

As part of the Tower Hamlets Brexit Commission, the council is working to keep non-UK EU citizens informed about the steps they need to take to continue living and working in the UK after we leave the EU. We will be holding an advice and information session on Monday 3 December at St Luke's CE Primary School on the Isle of Dogs from 7pm to 8.30pm
The event will include a presentation by an expert immigration solicitor followed by a Q&A session. It will be of most benefit to non-UK EU citizens but all residents are very welcome to attend.
Civil society evidence hearing

The commission met at the Harford Health Centre to hear evidence from civil society representatives.

Public services evidence session

The commission heard oral evidence from key public service bodies in the borough with a focus on education and health, as well as local, national and regional government.
Witnesses included representatives from Queen Mary University, Barts Health, East London Foundation Trust, the Institute for Government, Tower Hamlets College, Tower Hamlets Council and UNISON.
