Shared cargo bikes now available at three locations across Tower Hamlets

The latest OurBike bike has arrived at St Paul Old Ford in Bow, joining existing locations at Oxford House in Bethnal Green and Poplar Union in Poplar.

Residents and businesses in Tower Hamlets can now use OurBike shared electric cargo bikes from three locations across the borough, making it easier to carry shopping, transport goods and get around without a car.

OurBike provides affordable access to electric cargo bikes that can be booked by residents and local businesses. The bikes are designed for everyday journeys, with plenty of space for shopping, work equipment, family trips and other items that can be difficult to carry on a standard bike.

At St Paul Old Ford, the bike is based at 84 St Stephen’s Road, Bow, London E3 5JL, situated by Roman Road Market and near to Victoria Park.

The church is a hub for the local community, hosting worship, community groups and St Paul’s Kitchen. By hosting an OurBike, the team is helping residents make more journeys by bike while supporting a greener way to travel around Bow.

Whether you're picking up shopping from Roman Road Market, heading to Victoria Park, doing the school run or transporting equipment for work, an electric cargo bike can make the journey easier.

• £5 per hour or £1.25 for 15 minutes
• Book a bike through the OurBike app
• New residents get 60 minutes free
• New businesses get 180 minutes free

Our partnership with OurBike is part of Tower Hamlets Council's work to make sustainable transport more accessible and support residents and businesses to choose alternatives to car travel.

With three locations now available across the borough, more residents can try an electric cargo bike for themselves without needing to own one.
