Learn about our focus groups

The Women’s Commission has been set up to tackle inequalities experienced by women in Tower Hamlets. We are focusing on key themes that affect women's lives, including health, employment, community leadership, and safety.

The focus groups are part of a wider programme of work that includes a public survey and several focus groups across the borough to deepen our understanding of the lived experience of women. All of this is aimed at gathering insights to inform a Women’s Strategy for Tower Hamlets. A practical, action-focused plan to tackle inequality and improve outcomes for women.

As part of our commitment to tackling inequalities in the borough, we want to hear about your lived experiences. What challenges you face and how things like culture, language, caring responsibilities, or other personal circumstances shape those experiences.
