About the Nari Centre
The Nari Centre is a dedicated hub created to support, empower and connect women from across Tower Hamlets. We provide a safe, women only environment where women and girls of all ages can access essential services, activities and events.
Our work focuses on tackling the inequalities faced by all women, particularly those experiencing:
- poverty
- isolation
- language barriers
- poor health
- discrimination
- difficulties accessing services
What We Offer

Working in partnership with local organisations and service providers, the Nari Centre will host and facilitate:
- Advice, information and advocacy
- Health and wellbeing support
- Learning, skills and confidence-building activities
- Employment, training and enterprise support
- Creative, social and peer-led activities
- Preventative and early-intervention services
- Volunteering Opportunities
- Domestic Violence one stop shop
All activities are delivered in a women-only space to ensure safety, dignity and inclusion, especially for women who may not feel able to access mixed-gender services.
