Fines for anti-social behaviour in our parks

We are considering introducing fines for unacceptable and anti-social behaviour in our parks. The consultation is being organised by London Councils and is taking place until 30 January 2023. To take part in the short, anonymous survey, visit the consultation on Proposed Tower Hamlets Byelaws website.

Woodlands

Whilst woodlands are of great importance to wildlife, they also serve as a place of relaxation and tranquillity for local people to visit. Our two local nature reserves, Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park and Mudchute Park and Farm, contain wooded areas and woodland trails.

Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park offers a range of monthly activities including opportunities for people to get involved with local conservation projects from planting trees, bulbs and wildflower plugs to carrying out coppicing and woodland crafts.

Mudchute Park and Farm is made up of grazing pastures, wildflower banks, woodland, hedgerows, ponds and a nature trail.
