Would you like to contribute to making Tower Hamlets ‘no place for hate’?
Are you available to help make 'One Tower Hamlets' a reality? It involves addressing discrimination, hate crime, and supporting the community.
We are recruiting our next group of No Place for Hate Champions.
Successful applicants will join a FREE training program. It'll teach you the necessary knowledge and skills for Hate Crime Awareness training and outreach.
You need to plan and execute three hate crime activities. These could be outreach events or training sessions for Tower Hamlets residents.
Training will take place over two days (online or in-person)
- Wednesday 27 March 10am to 4pm
- Wednesday 3 April 10am to 4pm
Selection criteria
- Proven and demonstrable commitment to the principles and practice of equal opportunities
- A commitment to wanting to make a difference to the lives of those living and working in Tower Hamlets
- Demonstrable commitment to tackling ALL forms of hate
- Some experience in delivering presentations, facilitating workshops or training
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
- An awareness of issues faced by vulnerable groups
- A commitment to attend and complete both training dates (27 March and 3 April 2024)
