Storytelling Workshop by Daedalus Theatre Company
Join the East Storytellers for chai and a relaxed storytelling workshop. All levels of experience welcome. You will be given step-by-step exercises on different elements of storytelling. This is a welcoming and supportive space. Responding to the theme of curiosity, an experienced storyteller will guide you through how to tell a great story. This ranges from finding the perfect hook to bringing moments vividly to life. At the end of the session, we’ll share our stories with each other. Storytelling isn’t acting. You don’t need to write anything down or memorise lines. It’s something we all do naturally when having conversations. In this session, you’ll learn how to shape everyday life experiences into stories that connect with people.
Part of the East Storytelling Project, which has been running for over twelve years. You can watch stories on our archive: www.eastarchive.com
