Description

A photographic exhibition exploring the lives of people and rivers in Bangladesh and East London.

Rivers have long been vital for trade, transport, irrigation, and the development of communities. This exhibition features photographs taken across Bangladesh, capturing the rivers and the people whose livelihoods depend on them.

The exhibition also explores the connections between the rivers of East London and Bengal, including the historical links created through the East India Company. Visitors will have the opportunity to reflect on the challenges facing rivers today, including pollution and climate change.

The event will also celebrate the importance of rivers through the medium of song.
