The Art Pavilion, Mile End
The Art Pavilion is a stunning gallery space with a glass frontage that overlooks a small lake. It's found within Mile End Park and is buried in a grass bank. The pavilion is the perfect space for exhibitions or installations and is available for hire.
The first impression of this building is the light flooding in, followed by the vastness of the space. Large imposing support structures lend it a contemporary feel. The building is completely accessible to those with disabilities.
This well-lit space can be adapted to display work in a number of ways. And it is big enough to allow for collaborative exhibitions. It is used for a range of arts events and activities including exhibitions and workshops. It also provides opportunities for local artists to exhibit their work and perform for others.
If travelling from central London, the Art Pavilion is just 20 minutes from Bond Street on the Central line and then a 5 minute walk from Mile End Underground Station.
The Art Pavilion is available for hire for art exhibitions, events, wedding ceremonies and receptions and other celebrations.

How to get there
Mile End Park has produced a unique set of maps to provide a step-free journey to assist our visitors with disabilities. The enabled maps offer a step-free route from Mile End Underground Station to the Art Pavilion.
The Arts Park
Linked to the Ecology Park by a path and cycleway under a railway viaduct, the park also includes an “art mound”. This has been used to showcase outdoor art. It gives an opportunity to get a bird's-eye view of the rest of the park and Regent's Canal too.
