Local land charges search
From 13 October 2026 we will no longer provide the LLC1 element of the Local Land Charge search service.
LLC1 searches will be processed by us up to and including 12 October 2026, only if payment is also received by this date.
Local Land Charges Register moved to HM Land Registry
The Local Land Charges Register will move to HM Land Registry from 16 October 2026. You will be able to access a new digital service through:

Cancellation fees between 24 to 48 hours
You can only cancel a search within 48 hours of booking. There is no charge if you cancel within 24 hours. A cancellation fee applies if you cancel between 24 and 48 hours.

Common Land and Village Green Searches
This is an extra optional question on the CON29O that shows the registration or access rights of any common land or village green.
Water searches
Drainage enquiries should be made to Thames Water.
How to pay
Payment is accepted by BACS only. Searches will only be accepted once we receive the payment.
