Duty planning officer service suspended
Due to the rapidly changing Covid-19 situation, there has been an immediate effect on some of our services. The council has put in place contingency plans and where a service is affected, we are establishing alternative ways of continuing to provide the service.
Due to current government guidance restricting non-essential contact with others, the majority of our staff will be working from home.
The drop-in and also the phone based duty planner advice service has been suspended with immediate effect.
E-mail enquiries will continue to be dealt with subject to resources and of course our online website resources remain available. E-mail enquiries will be received only for for small scale proposals, such as householder planning applications (i.e. single dwellings), changes to the use of a building, small commercial alterations and extensions
