Evidence that will be accepted

All applications will be checked on the Department for Work & Pension (DWP) system for Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Personal Independence Payment (PIP). If you do not meet the eligibility for DLA or PIP, you must contact DWP. 

  • Evidence of specialist consultant (for example) Clinical Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Neurologist, Rheumatologist, Psychiatrist & Gastroenterologist must be dated in the last 12 months.
  • Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP) - applicants aged 16 and over will not be accepted.
  • Department for work and pension (DWP) - must be dated within 12 months or current period.
  • A letter of diagnosis and undergoing treatment (a signed SR1 form) within the last 3 months.

Documents not accepted

Examples of documents that are not considered valid evidence: General Practitioner (GP) letters, photographs of injuries or disabilities, appointment letters (such as discharge summaries, medical history, or medication lists), and statement of fitness for work (fit note).

Evidence must be based on an impartial and factual assessment or report provided by a qualified consultant.

If you are unable to provide the above accepted documents or meet the eligibility, then we will not be able to process your application.
