As we approach the six-week school summer holiday (23 July – 29 August 2025), we’d like to remind residents that many children will be at home during this period. This may lead to increased movement and activity within homes and local parks.
We understand that some residents may be concerned about noise disturbances. However, we kindly remind everyone that children playing—whether indoors or outdoors—does not constitute anti-social behaviour (ASB). These are normal and expected activities during the school break.
We encourage all residents to be patient and understanding of one another during this time. At the same time, we ask families to be mindful of noise levels, especially in shared accommodations or flats with thin walls. Small steps, such as closing doors gently and encouraging children to play at moderate volumes indoors, can make a big difference. Where possible, we recommend taking children to local parks to enjoy outdoor play.
If you would like to learn more about what constitutes anti-social behaviour and how to report it, please visit our dedicated webpage: Anti-Social Behaviour and hate incidents
We appreciate everyone's cooperation in fostering a respectful and inclusive community. Thank you for your understanding.
