About the Climate Alliance

The Tower Hamlets Climate Alliance is a new borough-wide initiative that brings together local organisations, businesses, and communities to drive coordinated and measurable climate action.

Whether your organisation is already leading on sustainability or just beginning its journey, the Climate Alliance offers a shared space to collaborate, share knowledge, and contribute to lasting change across Tower Hamlets. It is completely free to join and become a member of the Climate Alliance.

Membership is open and free. No specific climate expertise is required—just a willingness to take action.

Champion Members are leading organisations committed to going further—setting Net Zero targets, reporting progress, training staff, and actively supporting local climate action. In return, they receive enhanced recognition, exclusive support, and a spotlight as climate leaders in Tower Hamlets. 

For Residents:

We are looking for Tower Hamlets residents who want to make an impact across Tower Hamlets. Join our growing network of sustainability leaders in the borough.

Recycling Champions: This network organises activities to improve recycling, reduce waste and promote sustainability in Tower Hamlets.

Energy Champions: Through our free 6 to 8 weeks course learners will gain a Level 1 OCN accreditation in fuel poverty, equipping them with energy knowledge. For energy champion training, contact: heap@bbbc.org.uk or 020 8709 9711.
