Meet your Resident Engagement & Partnerships Team

Our Resident Engagement & Partnerships Team works to ensure every council tenant and leaseholder has the opportunity to get involved in their local neighbourhood and help shape housing services across Tower Hamlets.

We believe that residents are best placed to influence decisions about where they live. That's why we work closely with residents both locally and across the borough to support meaningful involvement, community action and service improvement.

Whether you want to join a local residents' association, take part in an estate inspection, help shape council housing services, or develop new skills through our training programme, our team is here to support you.

Neighbourhood Engagement & Partnerships Officers

Our Neighbourhood Engagement & Partnerships Officers work at a local estate and neighbourhood level. They support Tenant and Resident Associations (TRAs), organise estate inspections and community events, help maintain community food gardens, and lead a range of other local engagement activities.

Strategic Engagement & Partnerships Officers

Our Strategic Engagement & Partnerships Officers work with residents at a borough-wide level to help design, shape and improve housing management services.

Nojmul Hussain - Borough-wide

Their work includes:

  • Supporting residents to co-design housing strategies, policies and services.
  • Working with council service areas to ensure resident voices are heard in decision-making.
  • Supporting resident scrutiny and performance monitoring.
  • Delivering the resident training programme to help residents develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to participate effectively in engagement activities and community initiatives.
