The Local Supported Employment (LSE) Initiative

The Local Supported Employment (LSE) Initiative is funded by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). The LSE is a team of Supported Employment Officers who can support people with learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum disorders.

We know that getting a job can be difficult, but we can support you with this.

The LSE programme will help you:

  • Develop skills which will make you more independent and gain confidence.
  • Prepare for your future and help you when applying for jobs.

Who can use this service?

You can join this programme if you are aged 18 or over and have a learning disability and/or an autistic spectrum condition.

You must also be living in Tower Hamlets and be interested in working.
