Opportunity for catering concessions in parks

Tower Hamlets has many beautiful parks and open spaces used by both residents and visitors to the borough.

We have a great opportunity for local businesses to trade in our parks for the summer season.

We are seeking to license:

- catering vans
- catering operators at fixed pitches
- healthy street food trucks

We have opportunities in parks across the borough for vendors who have Public Liability Insurance and Food Hygiene Certificate.

The Ecology Pavilion

The Ecology Pavilion is a large modern venue in natural surroundings. The building is buried in a grass bank next to the reed beds of the Ecology Park.  The pavilion is the perfect space for your event.

The Ecology Pavilion is available to hire for exhibitions, corporate events, wedding ceremonies and receptions and other celebrations.

The Ecology Pavilion is in the heart of East London. It is 20 minutes from the City and West End on the Central line and a 10-minute walk from Mile End Underground Station.

Hire Rates

Private hire events include weddings, family celebrations and gala dinners.  Different rates apply for daytime corporate events.  Please see the table below for further information.

Rates exclude staffing, security and tech package costs where applicable. A full quote will be supplied on application. 

The Pavilions can offer subsidised hire rates for events and exhibitions that meet the King George’s Field Trust criteria.  Eligible events and exhibitions must be free to access and open to the public.

Bus: 277 and D6

Underground:  Mile End  and Bethnal Green.  Both stations are in Zone 2.

Car:  There is no parking at the Pavilion. The local streets have a permit system for residents. There is some parking at Bow Wharf. We encourage you to use public transport.
