Mayor's Badminton Cup 2025

Following last year's successful annual football tournament, and the inaugural cricket tournament launched last summer, we are proud to announce the latest sport to join the exciting suite under the Mayor’s Cup brand.

The inaugural Mayor's Badminton Cup tournament welcomes all comers, and gives players the opportunity to display their skills and become local champions in three categories - Junior, Adults and Doubles.

Entries will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis, so do not delay if you wish to avoid disappointment!

Juniors U18 13-17 yrs

Girls (singles): £10 entry fee
Boys (singles): £10 entry fee
Event dates: Saturday 26 April 2025 (boys) & Sunday 27 April 2025 (girls)
Event times: 10am to 3pm
Venue: Poplar Baths Leisure Centre, 170 East India Dock Road, Poplar E14

Adults U55 18-54 yrs

Women's (doubles): £20 entry fee per entrant
Mens (singles): £20 entry fee
Event dates: Saturday 12 April 2025 (men) & Sunday 13 April 2025 (women)
Event times: 10am to 3pm
Venue: John Orwell Sports Centre, Tench Street, Wapping, E1W 2QD

Seniors 55 yrs+

Women's (doubles): £20 entry fee per entrant
Men's (doubles): £20 entry fee per entrant
Event dates: Saturday 5 April 2025 (men's doubles) & Sunday 6 April 2025 (women's doubles)
Event times: 10am to 3pm
Venue: Mile End Park Leisure Centre, 190 Burdett Road, E3.
