Is your child a budding artist? Make sure they enter the council’s Christmas card competition to be in with a chance of appearing on the official festival cards from the council.
Three designs will be chosen to go on the cards which will be sent by the Mayor, Chief Executive and the Corporate Director, Children’s Services.
Entrants are encouraged to be inventive and draw, paint or collage a personal card with a seasonal and borough theme.
Lutfur Rahman, Mayor of Tower Hamlets, said:
“Christmas is a magical time for children and we want to help spread some festive cheer through this competition.
“Looking at the entries is one of my highlights of the year, and I can’t wait to see the designs the children have come up with. Good luck to everyone taking part.
